What's inside
Price every necklace, bracelet, earring and ring with confidence, and know your profit on every permanent jewelry weld. This calculator turns bulk chain, wire, bead strands, findings and metal into an exact cost per piece, then suggests wholesale and retail prices and shows the real profit after fees.
Jewelry pieces
- Materials & Findings tab: enter what you paid and how you bought it (each, strand, inch, cm, foot, meter, gram or troy ounce). You get the cost per inch, cm, gram and per bead or piece. Bead strands: cost per bead = strand price ÷ beads per strand
- Jewelry Pieces tab: one row per design with chain or wire length, beads or stones, up to 2 findings (clasps, jump rings, ear wires), a charm or pendant, metal by weight, packaging and labor minutes
- Classic jewelry pricing formula: wholesale = materials × 2 + labor + overhead, retail = wholesale × 2. Both multipliers are editable

FAQ
Does it handle chain bought by the foot or meter?
Yes. Enter what you paid and the unit (inch, cm, foot or meter) and it works out the cost per inch or cm. Bead strands, grams and troy ounces are converted too.
What does the permanent jewelry tab do?
It spreads your welder and argon costs into a cost per weld, adds chain (including the bit you cut off) and connectors, compares it with your menu prices and card fees, and plans events with break-even pieces and profit per hour.
What exactly do I get?

Does it work on a Mac or iPad?
Yes. Open it in Excel for Mac, Apple Numbers, or Google Sheets in your browser or the Google Sheets app on iPad. No macros, so nothing is blocked.
Can I use it in Google Sheets for free? Do I need Excel?
You don't need Excel. Upload the file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets, which is free with a Google account. It also works in Excel 2010 or newer, LibreOffice and Numbers.
